Quick start: your first post in 15 minutes

SocialMint AI is a web app that writes social media posts, images and short videos in your brand's voice. It runs in your web browser, so there is nothing to install. It uses your own API key, which means you pay the AI company directly for what you use. Your key is saved in your browser, not on our server.

What you need

• A computer with an up-to-date Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari.
• Your purchase email from WarriorPlus or JVZoo. It has the email you bought with and your receipt number.
• An API key from OpenAI or Google Gemini. If you do not have one yet, follow How to get your API key first. It takes about 10 minutes.

Step 1: Sign in

1. Open the app at https://socialmint-ai-1081984523212.us-central1.run.app. You see the screen Sign in to your account.
2. In Email you bought with, type the email address you used when you paid.
3. In Receipt number, paste the receipt or transaction number from your purchase email.
4. Click Sign in. The app opens on the Create a Post screen.

If sign-in does not work, check the email is exactly the one you paid with. Purchases can take a few minutes to reach us. Still stuck? Email admin@ankor.co.za with your receipt number (never a password).

Step 2: Add your API key

1. In the menu on the left, click Settings.
2. Under AI provider, find the box for your AI company, for example OpenAI API key or Google Gemini API key.
3. Paste your key into the box.
4. Click the save button under it, for example Save OpenAI Key. You should see "OpenAI API key saved."
5. Click the test button, for example Test OpenAI Key. A line appears under it saying whether the key works.

Step 3: Set up your brand

1. In the menu on the left, click Brand Kit.
2. Click New kit.
3. Fill in Brand or client name (this one is required). Add your Website, Target audience and Brand voice if you can: the more you add, the more the posts sound like you.
4. Click Save kit, then Set as active. The kit now shows the Active badge.

Step 4: Make your first post

1. In the menu on the left, click Scheduler. You see Create a Post.
2. In Topic for your post, type what the post is about, for example "3 tips for new customers".
3. Click Suggest Content. The app writes a post into the Content box.
4. Under Write for, pick where the post will go, for example Instagram.
5. Click Copy post text, then paste it into your social media app and post it yourself.
